Duluth, MN – October 9, 2015
As part of its commitment to an aggressive growth strategy, Sisu Healthcare IT Solutions recently hired Kevin McArdle as its Chief Revenue Officer. This move is a critical next step in a long-term strategy to expand Sisu’s client base in the healthcare provider segment with a focus on community and rural healthcare organizations, including critical access hospitals.
McArdle is the first person to hold this role at Sisu. He will lead and manage the Marketing, Sales and Account Management Departments.
“We’re thrilled to have Kevin on board to help us drive revenue through the last quarter of 2015 and beyond,” said CEO Scott Lee. “Since our decision to transition Sisu to an exclusively for-profit business in 2013, we’ve been building a strong infrastructure and expanding our services. As part of a conscious shift to focus on scaling and growing the company, we’ve brought Kevin on board. I’m confident he’s the right person to help us strengthen our account management and add more critical access hospitals and rural healthcare organizations to our client base,” he added.
McArdle joins Sisu after founding and leading an internationally-recognized marketing and sales strategy firm in the Twin Cities area, which he ran for over 25 years. Past clients include emerging, mid-market and Fortune 500 companies, as well as medical device manufacturers Medtronic, Merck and Arizant and pharmaceutical company GSK (GlaxoSmithKline).
“Sisu is in the unique position to help both rural hospitals and rural communities thrive,” McArdle said. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to build out our marketing, sales and account management disciplines to actualize Sisu’s bold growth strategies.”
As part of its growth initiative, Sisu has also added a Senior Account Manager to its team, Ariel Avestruz. Avestruz will manage existing client relationships as well as nurture future client opportunities under McArdle’s leadership.
Avestruz comes to Sisu with extensive experience in electronic health record (EHR) administration with companies such as the medication management company Aesynt and the health IT company Cerner.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Kevin, Scott and the rest of the Sisu team on this exciting new market,” Avestruz said. “Both Kevin and I are bringing to Sisu past successes in revenue generation and sales growth as well as experience in the healthcare market to help the company reach a new level of growth in the coming year.”
“Kevin and Ariel are tremendous additions to the Sisu team,” added Michael Delfs, Sisu’s Chairman of the Board and CEO of Mercy Hospital in Moose Lake, Minnesota. Both come to the organization with in-depth experience in healthcare information technology. I am excited to see Sisu make this growth strategy a priority and I’m sure that Kevin and Ariel will be terrific additions in helping the company to expand.”
