Running is a healthcare revenue cycle expert and IT professional with over 15 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management analytics and optimization, EHR implementation, information technology and project management. She is returning to Sisu after a six-year absence in which she held leadership positions as a systems analyst and a senior consultant with firms Gustafson + Associates and Jacobus Consulting.
“Revenue cycle management is a vital issue that can get overlooked by many providers. It’s even more important for community-based and rural providers who have tighter budgets to manage,” said Running.
“I’m thrilled to return to Sisu and bring my experience in revenue cycle redesign, cash acceleration and key performance indicators to help these providers manage their revenue cycle more efficiently and avoid unnecessary setbacks due to denials, audits or inefficient processes,” she added.
Running will report directly to Kris Olberg, Sisu’s Chief Information Officer.
“Industry changes are forcing healthcare in a new direction,” commented Olberg. “Sisu is responding by reshaping its service delivery to be more patient-centric across the continuum of care. Erika brings the broad-based skills and experience needed to understand customer requirements in the field of analytics—and convert those requirements into the products and services that community-based and rural providers need to thrive.”
Running will be working closely with Olberg and the rest of the Sisu executive team to expand its suite of products and services.
“I’m excited to count Erika as a member of the Sisu team,” added Olberg. “I know her expertise will help Sisu continue to provide the highest level of support for our customers and to remain adaptable to the ever-changing needs of today’s healthcare organizations.”
